Amsterdam-based design duo Vlieger & Vandam are cooking up a storm in America with their Guardian Angel bag collection, the Financieele Dagblad writes.
The bags, with life-size reliefs of guns and knifes is being expanded with a handcuff collection this season, Hein van Dam tells the paper.
'The first collection dates from 2002 and is a counter-reaction to the feeling of insecurity in the Pim Fortuyn era,' he says. High point so far as been Rihanna carrying a bag on camera in 2010.
