How many people does it take to change a garbage container? [October 22, 2012]

Lots of noise and drilling and hooting and lorry motors revving outside our house this morning. Seems like they are replacing our horrible underground garbage container with a new one - that does not quite fit.

So how many people does it take to change a garbage container? Well there is the digger and its driver on standby in the main road to help if necessary. There is garbage container itself on a large lorry, the man who is dry-cutting the concrete, the company specialised in lightning conductors, the electricity company Joulz... and Icom service truck doing god knows what - even health and safety inspectors are standing by.

And don't forget, the little caravan where they can all shelter from the horrible autumn weather for their coffee break and lunch.
