They came down our street at 7am this morning to empty our all new singing and dancing underground garbage container.
Didn't go that well, as you can see. The man from the rubbish collection lorry hit it a few times with a little hammer in an effort to make it fit, but to no avail.
In the end he gave up and drove off.
I particularly like the way he did not manage to take the one black plastic bag of crap that someone had so kindly placed there.
By 8am, two other men - one in a big lorry and one in a white van - were holding a confab in front of our bin. And then they wynched it up and took it away.
